When The Body Says No

I know I've been a little slow with the posts, but this pretty much says it all.  As I mentioned once before, I have lyme disease and after years of antibiotics I now have candida.  I went to the doctors today and she wants me to see a specialist. One good thing is she says this doctor likes to work with alternatives which I am all for because I'm tired of shoveling my money into big pharma.  I dream of the day when I am totally off of medication.  Unfortunately, because I have been off of the antibiotics since March, my lyme symptoms have flared up.  Ah, the merry go round continues.

Hi Cindy, tried the grapefruit seed extract for the lyme but not the candida.  Hmm might have to try it.  Currently I am taking Three-Lac a pretty powerful probiotic that people swear by in curing the yeast, but I just started, so we'll see. The problem with this yeast is the diet you must follow is so restictive, I'm getting conflicting information on the web, so the dr. wants me to see someone who will know exactly what I can eat.  The whole thing sucks and I do feel like doodoo.  Thanks for the well wishes.

Sorry to hear you're not as well as you'd like to be these days. Hope your specialist has something that will work well for you. Keep hope up :)
